Breeding Season

Fall is the time of year we breed our ewes to lamb in the spring.

Three ewes --> Izzy, Teagan and Clare are visiting a Teeswater Heritage Breed sheep at Blue Bye Ewe Farm in Temple New Hampshire. They will visit for three and one half weeks, then be brought back home. The ewes that stayed home are being bred to a handsome Blue Faced Leicester / Border Leicester ram named Liam.

These breedings will produce lambs that will be hardy and have wonderful fiber.

We make sure that all of the girls are in prime condition to ensure safe and successful breeding. They are receiving excellent nutrition year-round and especially so at this time of year.
